Amy Brammer is the Clinical Supervisor at Optimum Eye Surgery, bringing a decade of experience in ophthalmology to her role. With a deep commitment to hard work, integrity, and honesty, Amy has earned the respect and trust of both her colleagues and patients. Her leadership is marked by a dedication to excellence and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Amy's philosophy in both her personal and professional life is guided by the Golden Rule: treat others as you want to be treated. This principle is evident in her interactions with her team and the patients they serve, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment within the clinic.

Beyond her professional life, Amy is happily married and shares her home with three beloved dogs. Known for her great sense of humor, she brings a lighthearted and positive spirit to everything she does, balancing the demands of her career with the joy she finds in her family and pets.

Amy's journey in ophthalmology began nine years ago, and her passion for eye health and patient well-being has only grown stronger over time. As a surgery coordinator and now as a clinical supervisor, she continues to inspire those around her with her unwavering commitment to the values she holds dear. Erin Eggleston

Ophthalmology Patient Care Specialist

Erin has been a medical receptionist for over 20 years and has over 13 years of experience as an Ophthalmology Patient Care Specialist. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care and ensuring every patient has a positive experience. At Optimum Eye, she enhances every patient's clinic experience with her warm and caring demeanor.

Erin values the connections she builds with patients and their families, making them feel welcome and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her loved ones, cheering on her favorite football teams, and playing cards.

Samantha Morris

Lead Ophthalmic Technician

Samantha Morris, known to most as Sammie, began her career in ophthalmology in 2022 and has had the opportunity to work alongside both glaucoma and corneal specialists. Eye care has become a true passion of hers, and she enjoys helping patients understand and care for their vision. One of the things she loves most about working in ophthalmology is that there is always something new to learn, allowing her to grow professionally while providing the best possible care to those she serves.

Outside of work, Sammie is a proud wife and mother to her son. Family is at the center of everything she does, and they enjoy spending their free time camping, making memories outdoors, and gathering with friends. Whether she is caring for patients or spending time with loved ones, she values building meaningful connections and bringing a positive attitude to every day.

Angie Phillips

Ophthalmic Technician

Angie Phillips is proud to call the Midwest home. She grew up locally on a hobby farm, where she learned the value of hard work, compassion, and treating others with kindness.

Her career in eye care began in 2002, selling eyeglasses. In 2006, she became a Certified Paraoptometric (CPO), and she continued working in optometry until 2014. Wanting to expand her knowledge and advance her career, she transitioned into ophthalmology and earned her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification in 2015.

Throughout her ophthalmology career, Angie has worked primarily with glaucoma and retina patients, gaining valuable experience while providing compassionate care. In 2019, she transitioned to part-time and PRN work to help raise her grandchildren. During that time, she continued serving patients in ophthalmology, maintaining her commitment to the profession she loves.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys cooking and spending time at the lake with friends and family. She strives to live by the Golden Rule—treating others with the same kindness, respect, and compassion that she hopes to receive.
